Laurel Sayer, based in Boise, Idaho has served as President and CEO of Perpetua Resources, since 2016. Before her appointment as CEO, Ms. Sayer served on the Perpetua Resources Corp. Board for two years.  Prior to her appointment to the Perpetua Resources Board, she worked as the executive director of the Idaho Coalition of Land Trusts (ICLT), which is dedicated to supporting and advancing private land conservation in Idaho. Ms. Sayer also spent more than two decades working on policy matters with Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson and Idaho United States Senator Mike Crapo, with an emphasis on natural resource issues.

Darren Morgans was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Perpetua Resources Corp in April 2011 and was a key contributor to listing the Company on the TSX. Mr. Morgans has overall responsibility for the financial management of the company, including its investments in its subsidiaries that own and manage the Stibnite Gold Project, as well as being heavily involved in over US$250 million of equity, convertible notes and royalty financing transactions since June 2011.

Prior to joining Perpetua Resources Corp., Mr. Morgans served as Corporate Secretary and Controller of Terrane Metals, which was acquired by Thompson Creek Metals Mining Company in October 2010. Mr. Morgans joined Terrane in July 2006 and assisted in growing Terrane’s market capitalization from $140 million to $700 million on its sale. Prior to Terrane, Mr. Morgans spent three years as the Manager – Exploration Accounting at Place Dome where he was responsible for the accounting of the global exploration program until Placer Dome was acquired by Barrick Gold Corp. in 2006. Before joining Placer Dome, Mr. Morgans performed consulting services to various financial institutions in England, Scotland and Canada after spending four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Brisbane, Australia.

Mr. Morgans received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.

Before joining Perpetua Resources in 2021, Jessica worked for Newmont as their Vice President of Investor Relations. She has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Human Resource Management from the University of Colorado and over 15 years of mining industry experience in investor relations, planning, financial; reporting and accounting. At Newmont, Jessica set and executed the strategic direction of the Investor Relations function to help further differentiate the company and attract new investors while enhancing relationships with shareholders and industry analysts. At Perpetua, Jessica is responsible for the strategy and leadership of the company’s investors relations and finance efforts. Jessica joined Perpetua Resources because she values the commitment the Company has to developing this project responsibly. Mining is in Jessica’s blood and she is proud to carry on the family legacy by working in an industry she truly loves. In her free time, Jessica enjoys playing sand volleyball, going off-roading in her Can Am, going to concerts, and traveling.
